In the age of social media, WhatsApp, and countless digital communication channels, member magazines remain one of the most important communication tools for Round Table – both internationally and nationally.

Many national associations invest significant time, creativity, and dedication into producing high-quality magazines that inform members, showcase service projects, strengthen fellowship, and connect our organisation.

In Germany, for example, our member magazine ECHO is published six times a year. Until now it has been printed, but from this year onwards it will become a fully digital publication. To ensure the widest possible reach and make access as simple as possible for our members, we would love to see a dedicated Magazine feature in the Round Table App.

Our idea is simple:

•⁠ ⁠A section for the Round Table International magazine. •⁠ ⁠A second section where each national association can publish its own magazine.

Technically, this could be implemented very easily by allowing:

•⁠ ⁠a link to an external website, or •⁠ ⁠the upload/linking of a PDF document.

Members could then open the magazine directly within the app or download it for offline reading.

The content should be manageable by the respective national board members, allowing them to update the magazine whenever a new edition is published.

This would be a small addition to the app, but a valuable new communication channel for RTI and every national association. It would help increase the visibility of our magazines, make access much easier for members, and strengthen communication across the entire Round Table family.

We believe this feature would benefit not only Round Table Germany, but any national association that publishes its own member magazine.
